Summary

We are seeking  skilled Radiologic Technologists to join our team at Decatur County Hospital. In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering exceptional healthcare to our community.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, CT scans, and other as needed.
• Willingness to train on MRI machine.
• Work with the outpatient clinic and ER with scans when needed.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging techniques.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations regarding radiation exposure.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with advancements in radiologic technology.

Requirements

• Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required, or ability to maintain with tuition assistance.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to medical imaging.
• Experience with x-ray and CT preferred.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and staff.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
